It's official. I drove her the 250mi home at 3am this morning. Parking her in the garage was an oh so satisfying feeling. I can already tell this is the start of a long and illustrious relationship :D[up] I almost didn't believe it happened last night and ran out to check the garage this morning to see if she was still there. Opened the garage door and BAM! There resides my newest addition to the family. One thousand, one hundred, and twenty five cc's of angry American motorcycle. I love it. Lol

I will post pictures up after work :)

I am SO excited for you bro!!! I feel what you're feeling. Can't WAIT to see the pics!!! CONGRATS!!!

Well I'm home from work now. Unfortunately it is too late to take pictures but in the first day of thorough riding I have drawn a few conclusions. 1. I need bigger grips. 2. The stock exhaust is too quiet. 3. This bike s a wheelie monster. 4. Not as fast as I thought it would be but it will still shit and get. 5. The stock exhaust looks ridiculous. 6. I don't like the stock exhaust. 7 I need a keda pipe lol. I love the feel of this bike but at the moment I feel like it is muffled and it's power is stifled. In comparison to my xb9r, the 1125 feels like an alien spacecraft. So far the biggest thing for me to get used to is the immediate throttle response. So much more refined than te xb. Overall I am a happy camper. A few modifications and I will have a bike I would be happy to keep for a very long time.

2008 1125r, bought a few days ago with 4,000 miles, just hit 4,500 earlier today lol

And you can see my most prized posession in the background, a rusty '71 gmc fully equipped with nasty off-brand riding mower! truly one of a kind :D

On a different note..... While on my way to get tags I got pinged at 102 today on one wheel. I'm probably going to be in some deep shit with this one. [down][sad] I'm quite salty but at myself. Not the officer that pulled me over, he was just doing his job. This bike is so much fun though lol

whoa, yeah. That might get you into some trouble. Let us know how that pans out!

The bike looks fantastic!!

Thanks :D looking into a full failing kit or possibly just adding the catalyst composite lower to te stock setup. Ebr ECM in the mail and might be getting a barker since dean is so far back on orders. My only complaint about the barkers it's the tone. If I do end up with one I'll probably end up putting a thicker heavier mid pipe on it for a deeper tone.

And I managed to get my ticket lowered to 70 in a 55. $220 [up] I'll be taking it easy for awhile though. I've got a substantial amount of points now but hey at least I get to keep my license.

Congrats on the new bike! [up]

We might be able to help on the body kit if you like one of the products that Twin Motorcycles sells. Let us know and we can get you a quote on it.

Stay safe!

up here eh, that'll get your bike impounded for a month, plus towing charges to the impound as well as the lovely big ass fine that they will smoke you with.
So you'd be on the hook for storage charges for the month, towing to storage, plus big ass fine and de-merit points for going 30 over...then the real cash grab hits you when you need to renew your plates..
oh joy

ride safe and enjoy
:)

righteous my man, you know what I'm talking aboot

Hahaha yes sir. I've got family up in Halifax. I get out and aboot up there every now and then. My uncle actually played semi-pro hockey up there for awhile

I'm building them as fast as I can. I will be shipping out 5 systems this week, 3 have been at the powder coater since last week, just waiting to go pick them up. Still at least 4 weeks out, finally turned the order process back on a day or 2 ago.

Muy bueno! Glad to hear the ball is rolling again!

I feel ya man. I make custom guitars and it's hard to keep up with orders. As I've made obvious in numerous other posts, your system would be my first choice but I'm borderline desperate to replace te stocker on my bike ASAP lol. I'll be sending you an email in the next day or two.

Congratz.... I remember getting on my 1125r and its just felt light years ahead of my XB12r. After riding my 1125 for 2 years and my XB sitting I went ahead and sold the XB.

I also upgraded from an xb to an 1125r and I have to say, I'm in the same boat as you.. that exhaust is way too quiet, I have to wait though because my school keeps taking all my damn money.. other than the exhaust I love this bike

I would Check out the Drummer, it's a beast. Every morning when I start up I feel like I am lighting off some heavy artillery with the first rotation of the engine.

Earplugs are not an option if you want to continue being able to hear.
