I'm replacing the throttle grip on my xb9 and I can't get the throttle from sticking. It looks like the inside of the switch cover had a small dimple where the cables rest that was either worn off or ground for some reason. I'm wondering if that's my problem and is it possible to get another cover.

I've had that issue on used bikes as well. Someone ground the nub off so that they could put the switches at a different position.

I think I have the answer...it's a locating pin that fits in a hole in the stock handlebars. These after-market bars don't have the hole. Now I gotta figure out a way to secure the switch housing and let the throttle cables work correctly
