Looking to swap forks, spring and kickstand. I have an 09 with only 2000 mi. Forks must be black. Only like new cond. seeing as that's what you would be getting. Thanks all.

Im looking to do the same thing, i live in NY.. if anyone could help (obviously after CWC9SX has been helped) let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for the info guys, but can I get some clarification on why I need the whole shock? Why not just swap out the yellow (Scg) for the blue (S) spring...? I have searched all over and it seems no one knows or at least no one talks about it. Also trying to find anyplace to buy the spring and or shock since I have not come across a trade.

I think the lower stance of the Scg looks perfect.

Once again thank you all.

sl/scg rear suspension assy., yellow spring is shorter than standard suspension assy. with the blue spring

P/N: K0410.02A8 ...standard assy

P/N: K0410.1AE ...SL/Low/Scg assy

these were the p/n's from '03 as the numbers may have been superseded over the years...someone will chime in if they have been

The short shock has a shorter travel than the standard shock. The blue spring on a short shock will only increase the preload on the spring and not the length of the shock. The yellow spring on the standard shock will reduce the preload on the spring the the point that the spring retainers can easily fall out when the suspension is uncompressed and the spring will separate from the shock (DANGEROUS).

Springs do not determine ride height. The shock does. The springs only determine sag and handling. This is something that many people are confused about with the Buell rear suspension.

Mope, I tried to pm you, don't know if it worked I'm in mojave ca. Let me know what's up
