System voltage when cranking

Bought my first 1125 bike last weekend, Every now and then when cranking I can hear the starter engage but then nothing happens and I get a System Voltage error on the cluster. Could this just be a battery going bad? The charging system still seems to be working I usually shows 13.7-14.1

Yep...sounds like a battery. You should keep it on a tender when not in use. These beast's draw some amps when ya crank them over. Put that tender on it when it sits over night and you should be fine. You should be able to take the battery to a local Autozone or some place along that line and they can test the battery. It should be around 200 cca's. Hope this helps.
