Just bought a new set of T-Rex stands with the front stand having the triple tree lift. Tire change time.....and the rear stand was super stable and worked beautifully. Now the front triple tree extention does not give me enough clearance to lift the tire up passed the caliper roter. So am thinking I now have to use a jack to lift the front up to where I have the clearence to work the tire out. I clearly see the "jack point" triangles, with "Jack Point" clearly stamped on the bottom of the can. Seems to me that applying a jack on the fricking muffler would damnage it, ( Are they serious???) and not stable enough, making this a 2 man job. Does it have to be a scissor jack? or would a floor jack work....and how does it not damnage the can or the entire exhaust system?? Seems to me the dealer would have the rear tire chocked to hold it upright to make it a 1 man job.[confused]
