Does anyone know if this works well, and if it will fit on 5-0dro's rear slotted axle sliders? I want to buy, it seems great and especially for $100, but I can't find dimensions of it anywhere so don't know if it will fit on Sandro's sliders... The slot on the sliders is ~3/8" wide. I'd still use a front wheel chock...

Thanks!

Here's their response:

Is your rear axle slider/spools strong enough to hold your bike? The wide of the part that clamps to the spool/axle block slider is 22,6mm (57/64"). the slot on your bike is too small (3/8"-->9.5mm) and it may cause the bike vibrate so much.

Thanks,

Sure didn't look that wide in the pictures...

I may see if they make something to replace my sliders even though I really like them. Depending on the price may be worth it. Otherwise may need to come up with a homemade type deal... :(

I call BS! LOL

I don't think you guys are talking about the same dimensions. I'm not understanding the wording they're using honestly. "the wide"? If I were to guess, they're talking about the dimension that coincides with the ID of the slider slot (around 3/4-7/8" if memory serves me?) and you're talking about the width of the slot (3/8"). The thickness of their "hook" can't be more than 1/4" I'd think. I bet it will work. Let us know if you try! Looks like a nice product.

10-4 I was kind of thinking the same thing. I may buy on amazon and can always return...

Sandro, do you feel the sliders are strong enough to support the bike?

I may take you up on that Ryan... BTW my brother is most likely not going with us to the dragon, FYI.

I think they would be plenty strong, but without testing it, we can't promise that. ;)

You'll be fine. They've got them connected to the skateboard wheel spools attached to axle blocks. I doubt that the bolts holding them on are much thicker than the all thread Sandro uses so as long as the hooks fit in the spools you'll be fine.
