Tach question???

My bike is a 2000 M2 according to the Title and the Vin # yet my bike has a tach. It appears to be factory installed. Was this added late in the model year?? or an Option that could be ordered???

I think they were an option until 01 an then became standard.

You asked a good question. Aron is correct that a tach was standard equipment on the 01 bikes. Prior to that you could buy a kit #69100-99y for $285 dollars.
