I replaed my stock tail light and turn signals with a LED all in one unit. The problem I have is that 1 strand of lights is out. Is there a fix for this besides buying a whole new unit?
Sounds like Kajer is on the right path. But if the unit is undamaged and/or new, you will most likely have to replace the entire thing. A cold solder will be impossible to find unless you have a meter reader and know what to tear apart.
No matter the issue it would be easiest to replace it, I have this same setup and didnt have one problem. If you got the expensive one replacment shouldnt be an issue through ASB or where ever, and if you got it off ebay it should be easy too since you most likely paid through paypal and you have up to 45 days from your purchase to file a complaint on damaged items for a full refund unless it is stated otherwise in the auction.
