Okay, I've been searching on here for a few hours now and I can't find it.

Someone was making a tail light kit that looks kinda like this.

I believe he's from Maryland or Virginia.

If you're still making these setups, can you relist the information and cost?

THANKS
Joel

i have his email. he can give you either red or clear lenses. 100-115 was his price. the baseplate is carbon fiber. PM for his info

I'll be looking for the the same thing eventually. Do you remember if the turn signals were integrated?

I was in touch with the guy but lost the email. I thought it was around $200 for it.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. I've been searching for a while now and couldn't find it.

It'll be the next thing I do after the Hawk exhaust

i really didn't wanna share that link until i got my own done first. but that just wouldn't of been nice.

yea, i keep hoping one of these lotto scratch offs will give me the money to buy that sharknose. til then ima roll with one of these.

Well now all you need is a piece of steel, aluminum, CF, plastic, or whatever you wish, cut it to shapde and mount them[up][up]

Anyone have experience with these lights? I'd really like to integrate the turn signals but I want the brightest brake lights as well.
The Red T48 would be the safest with 48 LED's (and most costly at $60). Figuring out the 3 wires shouldn't be the end of the world.
The Red 1157 seems to be what I want though. 10 red LED's and 1 amber LED for the turn signal and hlf the price. I'm worried that the 10 LEDs would be a little dim and the fuzz won't like that too much.

I received the lights friday. They seem to be of decent quality but the Lense attaches to the housing by 4 little tabs and I've already broke one off. It's definitely not going to be as easy as I thought. The lights, housing(led ones) is probably and 1/8 of an in, too big to sit right in the hole, if you were trying to use the existing screw holes on the cheesegrater.

A plate wont be enough.

edit: I bought the 10 LED one without the extra amber. I wanted the 48, but wasn't going to spend that much on a project that may not work out.

I've got the LED Bulbs that I just switched out the regular bulb. If I had some metal or plastic molding / cutting a hosing to match the tail. The wiring seems simple enough.

Check american sport bike.. they have a clear lens set up(lens and red bulb) for like 30$ and an LED for around 200$ both look pretty hot

I couldn't find what you were talking about, do you have a link to the lights?

Update: Made a back plate with the shape of the tail light lense with a little lip up top for more coverage.
This is it roughed together. Need to replace the stock screws that hold the lense on so the light sit flush.

Nice. That came out really well.

Those are the 10 led bulbs, right? How's the brightness? I forgot, are there any plans to integrate the turn signals?

They are the 10 led bulbs but haven't hooked them up. I maybe interest in doing the integrated turn signals but I have no how to do it.
