hello all i am new to this computer stuff. i have had my lightening scg over a year absolutely fantastic does anyone know where i can get a tail rack as i go to a lot of rallys cheers

Hey Kajer how do you use the cargo net? Do you just hook the hooks under the back seat? Cause I want a way to carry my spare helmet and I'm hoping this is big enough to hold it.

i know i know, between moving and a few other lame excuses, I didn't get around to it yet. I get off work at 5pm pacific, get home around 6ish, I'll see if I can remember.

First, I took the hooks off. Didn't need them. Next I hooked two of the corners to my seat hooks so the net was positioned right near my strap, then folded the other two corners over so it was nice and tight. I can fit my bike cover under the net when it's like that. If I needed to carry something bigger, like my backpack, I would set the net diagonal and hook the far corners of the net to the seat hooks, and the third would be right near the latch. Depending on the object, there will be enough tension to keep a helmet in place.

+1 Kajer (even though it took you forever_ ;)

I'm definitely getting one. Looks like it will be the solution to hold my spair helmet when I go get the girl, then I'll just put the net under the seat. WOO I'm excited now!!:D

thanks for that but i was after something to put me camping gear on when i have my lady with me. i will be getting one cheers

they have the tail bags and side bags and the lot...

I have a rack from Cycleventure.com it has a number of different racks and bags that work with the rack

where/how many spots does that rack attach to? i checked out their site too hoping for installation pix but there are none

it bolts on with four fasteners, allen head i think, in factory holes. no drilling required. super easy to install

could you take a close up pic of the mounting locations (just one side). since I got rid of the cheese grater, i'm not sure that bolt-spot is available to me in the rear. course it could be modified but just want to know beforehand if possible.
thx

Thanks! That is exactly what I needed to see. I think i'll be getting one of those.
+1 [up] for you!!
