Tail Swap done cant get the seat on now!!!

Ok I have had nothing but damn problems with this tail swap and now that I finally got it on I cant get the damn seat on it!! It is an S tail on an R, Diesel-Moto risers but just cant get the seat to latch no matter what I do!!! The hook on the seat is about an inch or two too far toward the tail of the bike!! I cant push the latch back anymore cause it is leaning into my tail light wires. Any suggestions??? Before I set this MOFO on Fire!!!!!!

It's gonna have to wait till tomorrow netty the damn thing drained my energy!! And my trainer will be calling at 6 am to wake my big ass up!! I will take pics tomorrow and post them though, pre-bonfire!!

Most likely the tail lift is where your issues are. I know on my bike I had to notch out the vertical mount bolts to raise the latch up a little as the seat wouldn't "seat" as far down as it was supposed to.

That's exactly what o was gonna try I got my neighbor grinding my spare latch tomorrow so I can adjust it up and down thanks xtremelow makes me feel better bout my choice!!!

latch the back of the seat then push the front down, that's what I did with mine when I got your risers on just now, btw I got them and it took me about an hour from the time I walked into the post office til I had them on and going for a test ride

Kuntreeboy, about damn time. You had nothing but problems. You are gonna love it, It was one of the best mods I have done so much more comfortable to ride. Lets see some pics.

I will post pics as soon as I get my bracket done and the seat actually latches!! I have to work till 8 but hopefully I will be able to ride tomorrow!!!!!! If not I am driving to Tennessee to punch Jake in his head!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA
