Taking pics

Hey my Buell brothers and sisters,
I seem to be having somewhat of a brain fart. I can't seem to figure out how to take screenshots of my desktop like with Ecmspoy running and Megalog. How does one capture an image of those programs when they are up and running? I have Win XP as my OS. I can build a damn pc from parts but can't take a screen shot lol. I have tried print screen button no luck. Any pointers be awesome.

Usually I just hit print screen and then open up paint, hit ctrl v and paste it in there. If that doesn't work you might have to get a prog that takes screen shots

Don't want a whole computer screen screenshot? Hold ALT+PRINT SCREEN. This will only take a screenshot of the top window you have open.
