What's everyone using to protect the airbox cover from scratches? Got any pictures?

I don't really like the thick aluminum protector that's available.

I'm leaning towards the generic sport bike tank pad. I know a black or clear pad will look fine on my Black/red firebolt. Anyone have a pad with graphics?

I wouldn't mind adding some bewbies (Lethal Threat Hey Tequilla) but that may be too much going on, especially if I add the pegasus on the frame.

Hey, its your call, but i thing those graphics pads are gaudy and try hard. When i first got my bike i was looking for pads and search for a while to find a sick one (it was winter in ny so i had time). Anyway, I found this rare one made by stomp grip. It looks incredable, its like a spine coming out of the bike. I have never seen one that i like more. Also its nice thick rubber, not like some of those thin plastic stickers that would prolly scratch throu if your fly is down. here's a pic of it.

Supe- did you just order a buell one and repaint it or did you make that from scratch?

My GF Buellchick's, which I had on my bike but when I got my new one it already had one of the cheap CF looking thick stickers on it that looked ok so I gave her this one.

I have the CF one too on my CR and the Buell one on my Firebolt. I really like the CF one because it doesnt dent like the Buell metal one does.

Image 13 and 14 show a Firebolt in my color combo with a progrip (I think) red/black universal pad. I don't like that swirly design and red doesn't match well.

I do like that "ridge" design with the spines. It looks great on your bike too.

I'l probably go with a black progrip or that stomp design pad. Thanks for the images so far.
