I think we should come up with a dealership close to the Buell warehouse that would let us order over the phone and ship to us. Those of us on the west coast have to wait 11 days to get special order parts. I know Reno NV HD/Buell could have parts at my door in 8 days, but I'm hoping to find faster.

I've used Surdyke, but they take just as long as buying from my dealership.

If we decide on one, I'll call the manager and see if we could get a Buellxb members discount arranged.

This is not meant to take away business from Buellparts.net at all, just help us get those special order parts faster than going through our own dealership.

Good Luck. I waited three weeks for an idler pully from local dealership. I am on the east coast and it seems to take forever to get anything, 10 days for a friggin belt. I used to get 10 % over cost at another dealership but they dropped Buell. If anyone finds one it would be great.

So Dave ordering from Harley in Salinas would take longer than someone else?

Let me know where then so I can tell them to order from a different shop so I can get my bike out of the shop sooner.

Yeah, when Reno HD orders parts, they get them within 3-4 days, unlike our 11 day wait time. I figure we can order from a dealership that can pick up the parts themselves and put them right in the mail. I think we could get it down to 4 days.

Dealerships a half hour away from the warehouse including Suburban HD and Ukes state that it takes 7 days to get parts to their door. Reno HD takes 4 days! Then 3-4 days shipping equals 8 days. That's a lot better than a minimum of 11 days at my dealership.

I dont know about what kind of stock they keep, but Minneapolis HD/Buell was very buell friendly. Far and above the best buell dealer I've come across.
