My xb9 cam gears are out time...not by much but enough to hear a slight knock and exhaust muffle on idle...i have an idea of wut i need to do but need some precise intructions on starting from scratch with all the cam gears out and rockers loose enough to push lifters up....thanks for ur time

Did you have them out? The cam timing is fixed. There are dots to align the cam gears. The only thing you can adjust is the spark timing.
Yes they are out...the motor was tipped over slightly while on the engine stand just enough for the 2 front cylinder cam gears to fall out. When I went to pull the cover back off after putting the gears back in, which they weren't in correctly, I didn't release the pressure on the cylinders and the cams came out with the cover?!?! I think I've found some good pics of how it all needs to go together but curious if there are any tricks to keeps all the gears in place while putting the front intake cam gear in?

Its kind of a pain. Once you remove the rocker boxes they will slide in. It just takes a little bit of trial and error on how to get them all in at once. It may help to remove the spark plugs if you need to rotate the crank at all.
