Anyone know anything about them or ordered parts from them?

Assuming it is all from China but wondering as to whether anyone has had any luck with them.

Thanks X

probably from china, but at least their phone# area code is in LA.

WOAH!! i didn't see the date on the original post. carry on...

I would say probaly the same as MDI. We all know ASB is the way to go but it's sucks dropping that much dough

Bumping an old thread. Its relevant though.

I purchased a Ulysses upper front fender. Fitment isn't wonderful. I'm making it work though...

Couldn't find an OEM fender anywhere and for the price, it wasn't awful.

I have had a tekarbon airbox cover and front windscreen on my lightning for almost a year now. I got them so I could preserve my translucent orange plastics and use something cheap and (hopefully) more durable for normal riding. I am pretty happy with them. They seem to be only one or two layers of carbon fiber thick, so they feel light and thin, but they seem tough so I am not too worried about it. Like burgurboy said, the fitment wasn't perfect. I had to bend them a bit to get the bolts in, but it seems like it could be intentional since the pieces feel a lot more rigid when they have tension on them. I would say not too bad for budget carbon parts. If I remember right, they were a pretty reasonable price.

Sorry to bump, I was late seeing this thread. I just figured I should chime in since I have tekarbon stuff.

So.... what's the inside of these parts look like?

i bought a used (and kinda beat) carbon airbox cover from ebay. Inside looks really unfinished and kinda sloppy... kinda wonder if it was home-made or not. I took some pics, but keep forgetting to post them and ask.

It isn't beautiful, but it isn't any worse than I would expect. Seems pretty average for carbon fiber parts, at least from the ones I have seen. The outside and the edges are perfect though.

I can post a pic of the airbox inside if you want to see it too. I just grabbed the windscreen because it was slightly easier to pull off.

Don't pull parts just for pics... but if anyone has an airbox off, I'd like to see it.

This is the inside of my "mystery box". The outside had been painted, so no clue what it's finish originally was.

It looks like they sanded through 2 parts of it to see how deep the cracks went (paint, or structure). Once they saw that, they gave up. There were other cracks that showed up while I was working on it.... but I was flexing and pushing quite a bit.... learning vinyl wrap (this is most complex I've done... and working alone.

Hey look, IT'S CARBON AGAIN!!! <vinyl wrap> It isn't posing if it's carbon vinyl on real carbon, right? :D
<< In order to not threadjack, I'll be putting vinyl wrap stuff here.... http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Buell-Lightning-XB12S-XB12Ss-CityX-XB12Scg/Vinyl-Wrap >>

Yeah I think the Tekarbon ones all have the scoops on the top, so that must be another kind. Nice work on the wrap though, it looks sharp.
