Teknic Mercury Jacket - Opinions

I've been offered a NIB Teknic Mercury jacket for a really good price $150 (compared to buying it up here anyway at $300+) but before I decide I thought I'd ask for feedback from forum members that may have had one.

Did you like it, how well did it wear, comfort, issues etc… Anyone 'test' one out and did it do its job and were you impressed or not.

A quick google search shows they are $200.00 approx new not $300.00 but now I could be wrong about that.
If the jacket fits you and you like it I say it is a good buy. I personally like white in the Summer time because I live in the South. Just keep in mind the darker colors will be much hotter in direct sunlight.

Thanks for the reply, I live in Northern Ontario and the $300 price seems to be about what they sell for in Ontario. I'd get free shipping buying in Ontario. If I was to buy online from the U.S. for $200, by the time I paid shipping and handling, plus "brokerage" if it got shipped UPS, it would cost me that much or more, so $150 seems like a decent deal.

You're right, the black will make it hotter to wear in July, on the other hand all the perforations may make it too cool to wear outside of July and August up here

It fits well and definitely appears to have good armor and extra padding in the right places, I'd prefer it to have fewer logos on it, but that's just me.

Guess I'll buy it, the price is certainly right and no one has come out with any negatives.

sounds like a plan. I have a teknic summer jacket but I think mine is a bit different and cheaper. I paid $150.00 new from sportbiketrackgear.com I have NO REGRETS buying white for this Oklahoma heat. LOL
