Riding An 1125CR is like riding a smooth running air craft w/ two wheels. Bitchin baby, Make sure you know the road you are gonna travel. It will be an experience i promise you. Work into it for the best ride so you don't have any issues to worry about. Ride Safe! smooth is fast.[cool]

I would love to give some advise/comparison on this subject, but the CR was my first bike. I do LOVE it though!!!!!

I know D, if I had the cash I would buy a rt4 in a heatbeat! Ur pipes do sound fantastic for sure!! [up]

I don't know if you ever played Earth Worm Jim, but he used to ride a Turbine Engine with handlebars. Thats what it feels like to me.

very awesome, im glad i went with this over every other bike i looked at, it feels great to see people so intrigued with my bike. my favorite part is when you hit the throttle and you can hear the air getting sucked into the tb mmmmmmmmm then you see the sky.... i wish it wasn't winter

How it feels like to ride 1125 depends on what you are used to ride.
If you are used to a I4 600ccm sportsbike it has a lot more low-end grunt, probably not quite as flickable. The CR has an upright seating position and pulls hard from low RPM.

If it's your first bike it will feel like riding a rocket and you should be carefull when aplying throttle!

When I ride my bike I feel like I'm king of the road :) You can cruise at low RPM's and just aply a little throttle and off you go! With a high-reving jap I4 you either have to wait for the power og shift two gears down...

There are faster and better handling bikes, but not for the price you could get a 1125 for during the blow-out sale...

I can tell you for first hand fact....it sucks...

Well..to clarify...it does suck, but that was a 15 mile drive with a flat front tire the other day..!

Otherwise, just as much fun as "you" make it..!

I retract my previous statement. It is in one word, ORGASMIC!!! That is if you enjoy riding to a fault. As far as the fuel mileage goes, it isn't as good as the other XB's, but the the 1125 has a bigger fuel tank. Therefore it evens out....lol

well I had a 9r when I bought my 1125R...it was paid off, and in good condition. I ended up selling the 9R because I just didnt ride it very often, I couldnt stop riding the 1125.

Looking back, I probably should have kept it for a track bike. The 1125 is plenty capable of dominating on the track...I just didnt want to wreck it knowing I may not be able to get another.
