Anyone ever have an issue with road junk (Asphalt and Tar) sticking to the tensioner pully and stretching the belt?

Never heard of any such thing. Tar will never stretch your belt. You must be riding in it purposefully if it is sticking to your tensioner. You are the first that I have ever heard that happen to.

Only problem I have is hitting that junk in a turn. For some reason the road comission like sticking that crap in all the cracks in the roads here. Theres nothing like being halfway through a turn and feeling your tires slide on that soft goo. I dunno about you guys but it makes my ass pucker.

They just re-paved the road next to my house in asphalt, we push 95+ degrees everyday in my area so iv been tearing that road up a bit and iv only noticed a bit sticking to my tires.

I started to slide on a roundabout on ramp...(makes a circle from the overpass to the highway...I can only take it at 45mph in my eclipse before the tires start to holler and slide. I was running about 65-70mph when my back tire started to slide, I pulled the throttle a little harder and it pulled through, I thought for sure I was about to be on my ass in the grass...

I felt like I was on the side of my tire...actually I'm going to go check that now...
