TEST RIDE a Buell Ann Arbor, MI

This is JT from American Harley Davidson and Buell in Ann Arbor, MI. We will be offering test rides on bikes Friday the 4th. What do we have? XB9SX, XB12STT,SS,SCG AND X. We will also Have some 1125R's one with a D&D pipe.

Yes I was surprised that no one came in. We had the bikes out side ready to go. So I guess nobody needs or wants a Buell in our area. That is a shame. I think we would have had better luck offering test rides on ridding lawn mowers. To be honest I hardly see anyone come in looking to get on a Buell. If this keeps up I think we have to drop carrying the brand. You can't carry what you can't sell.

To be honest, buell's should be sold along side Honda, KTM, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Ducati, Aprilia, etc... Most Harley dealers are running the Buell brand into the ground because they lack knowledge on the bikes, provide no customer support, and in general just don't care.
I went with a buddy to our local Harley/Buell dealer who likes my xb12ss and currently in the market for a new motorcycle, the sales people there could have cared less about us, two of which walked right by us as we were looking over their new 2007 and 2008 xb12ss bikes.
I think he's going to buy a Ducati monster now and I don't blame him due to the difference in dealer experiences....
