Test rode 1125R today

Just before the ride I met our member gatorbuell he had just rode the CR and was telling me it was not for him. Not the torque pull he expected it to have. Then it was my turn on the 1125R and I would have to agree with him. Both of us own xb12's and love the power range you have in any gear. My biggest problem with the bike is the gearbox clunk and bang noise and sound that come out of it. Thought the bottom was going to fall out. The heat was more than my xb. The lean I was not used to and my wrists went numb about 15 mins into the ride. I could say if I could have broke away from the pack and rode the high rpms through the gears the bike would be in it's range. Track bike for sure. As for me and Gator we will stick to an xb all day long.

I test rode the 1125R for the second time a few weeks ago and I loved it more than the first time. It just wants to go fast! I agree with the clunky gearbox issue, and I don't like how tall 1st gear is. I would love to have a CR gearbox in a R, or just a CR with a full fairing.
