Clutch engagement is in the last 1/8" and instant you really could not feather for low speed turning, The clubman bars sucked, Its a long legged motor and you had to get the revs up and keep them up to be in the power, It was fast, dont get me wrong for track use and riding with liter bikes it would be great (with the high bars) but for me the 12Ss pulls from anywhere hard and you dont need to be doing 80mph to have fun. Seemed to be more heat than the xb, seemed kinda weird about that. I cant say its a bad bike and not worth getting but for my own personality and the way I ride I prefer the Lightning. But this is all from a 20 min ride so I would defiantly test ride it before you buy.
