Cause my sprocket is lookin' sexy, it took a little more work than I had anticipated but well worth the final results! I have a little more work prior to her being road worthy but I cannot wait!

is that one of those new clear translucid exhaust cans? hehe. sprocket looks clean! :D

Thanks guys...

onelogue, I actually left the sprocket on and was just very careful not to hit the belt..

Joel, haha..I am actually in the process of re-coating the Buell Race Can ...just wanted to clean up the surface rust.

did you use a grinder or what on your sprocket? and also what are you going to re-coat your race can with? thanks

i actually just used a 8" x 3" sanding block and made sure to just sand with the block touching 2 surfaces so it remained flat against the face of the sprocket. I found that sanding it by hand could potentially round the edges of the teeth. And as for the the race can I just used Dupli-Color High Heat ceramic paint. It works great I just sandblasted the can, cleaned it with alcohol, put 4 light coats of the paint, let it cure for about 30hrs then baked it in my BBQ for 2 hrs at 300F. Worked out real nice, I will post up pictures once its installed.

Just installed the muffler.. I almost forgot how fantastic it sounds.. (its been about 2 weeks since it was last started)... I shifted the clamps a bit more after noticing the screw end of the clamp showing..
