The bads with the CR?

So my dad is now wanting a buell 1125 specifically. I know what to look out for with the R since I have a 08 but what about the CR? Clutch weep? Stator issues?

The CR has all of the same issues that the 09 R has and vice versa.

I got mine for sale if he's interested, located in NJ. 2009 1125cr stator went south 2 moths ago I got new rewound from Rick's, EBR rotor oiling modification and CE605SB MOSFET regulator - its almost bulletproof now. It has 4400 miles and I'm selling for $6500. [cool]

My CR has the factory fix voltage reguator relay and I started having voltage spikes a few months ago. I replaced the regulator, problem solved. It started having voltage drops a few weeks ago so I replaced the relay for the regulator, problem solved. I keep a spare relay under the seat. The EBR rotor is on order. I have yet to have the clutch weep issue but I did have the clutch side case cover bolts come loose and leak oil. I torqued them back down, problem solved.

[up] This is a very overlooked (or ignored by some) problem. I have replaced my relay 3 times already.

I actually think the first time the regulator went bad was because the relay was bad. The bike was new to me and I didnt recognize the symptoms. Now I do so I can throw a new one in and save the regulator.

HI-I am new to the electrical system on the CR. I have an 09 with the recall fix done. Can anyone tell me the part number of the relay that I should keep on hand as a spare? Thanks Mort

My CR keeps blowing the headlight bulb. I wrecked my 08 R and REALLY thinking of snagging the stator and voltage regulator before they pick it up -totalled-. What should I get off the bike to fix my CR???
