Music tells you a lot about a person so what does everyone listen to. Me, I listen to a lot from George Strait, Chris LeDoux when im in the mood to Static X and Slipknot. Im into old school punk and sludge rock mostly. These are the bands I listen to the most.
Clutch, Static X, Mudvayne, Tool, Ill Nino, Soil, Nonpoint, Coal Chamber, Drop Kick Murphys, Misfits, Suicidal Tendencies, The Freeze, Social Distortion, Adolescents, X, The Vandals, Rancid, Rage Against the Machine, White Zombie, Black Flag, Bad Brains, Bad Religion, Minor Threat, Circle Jerks, Agent Orange, Ministry (Psalm 69, LR&H not the techno stuff), Flogging Molly, Dead Kennedy's and Cro-mags to name a few. Sometimes when im in the mood I will throw in some Cyprus Hill, Black Sunday and rock that or kick back with some Sublime and Jane's Addiction.

Audioslave, Linkin Park, Creed, AC-DC, Fuel, Gravity Kills, 3 Doors Down, Genesis (old stuff), Staind, Casting Crowns, Creedance Clearwater, Garth Brooks, Clint Black, Diana Krall, Eric Clapton, & Oldies.

My roots start with....
The Stones, Pink Floyd, Rage against the machine, Deftones, Pearl Jam, Alice in chains, Tool, Guns and Roses.

I will also dig on.....
Clutch, Kings of Leon, Interpol, Outkast, Sparta, Kid Rock.

I started collecting CDS in about 1992 and now I have about 650. My all time top 5 in order are....

1. "Ten" Pearl Jam
2. "Dark side of the Moon" Pink Floyd
3. "Jar of Flies" Alice in Chains
4. "Around the Fur" Deftones
5. "Aenima" Tool

Deff into the music thing. I plug myself into my Ipod when riding and rock away. I listen to soulfly, tool, slipnot, disturbed, lamb of god, ill nino, bullet for my valentin, korn, rob zombie, powerman 5000, flyleaf (that chick can sing) and others, i mostly like the heavier stuff.

sweet. music is one of the major things I live for in life, especially seeings bands Live.
favorite band is Maiden, followed closely by Priest, and many other (read-too numerous to list) Metal bands.

gator-that's definitely a few old punk/hardcore bands you listed there.. I like old Danzig-misfits stuff, after that it went downhill IMO

Ok so who else rides with the Ipod on and what earbuds do you use i started with the pricey bose one then went to the marshmallows and I think the marshmallows are way better and at a quarter of the price. Way better buy.

I listen to my Ipod while riding and use the SkullCandy in ear buds, I only wear one so I can still hear traffic and the one works great!

Guess Ill start off the rap and such, I love listening to Tupac, and Ice Cube is great to ride to, The Game, Eminem, I like riding to Powerman 5000, and Linking Park, Modest Mouse. E40(TELL ME WHEN TO GO!!!) Bob Marley, Sizzla, Kymani Marley, Knaan Oh shit and I cant forget Tom Jones shiiiit "Its not unusual to be loved by anyone" "Sheeeeee's a lady! oohhooohhhoohh She's a lady!" lol no not really. But Marvin Gaye will still get you laid by 20year olds!

Music = Life

yea i rock a cheap mp3 player when i ride... have it attached to some test line and a carabiner that i hook to my belt loop so i can just reach down and change songs when i'm riding lol. i used to use the bose ones but they got in a fight with my shoe and lost so i usually rock the marshmallows... like skellybuell said... way better and a quarter the price :D

I pretty much only listen to SKA. My favorites are the Aquabats, Streetlight Manifesto, Reel Big Fish, and Five Iron Frenzy. I use an FM transmitter on my IPod with my Cardo on my helmet. I'm buying the AUX in adapter so it will eliminate the FM transmitter, but it will be wired. At least I don't have uncomfortable earbuds, and I can answer my phone while listening to music

Im afraid to listen to music while I ride. If it has the same effect as when I work out I will be wrapped around a bumper or a light pole before the end of Sway by Coal Chamber. LOL if a song makes me want to kick something it dont need it in my ear while on my bike.[mad]:D
Five Finger Death Punch [up]

Same here, did it for a while. The only riding incident I've had was cause' "Cochise" by Audioslave was pumping in my ear and MADE me go 20+ mph too fast, low-sided in a drop-left 90.

I listen when I plan out long rides (hour +). I take my Zune with me, I use a $9 pair of JVC buds I bought at Best Buy

I am listening at many types of music but mostly heavy and punk stuff. Some band I"m listening to lately are Slipknot, Stone Sour, Amon Amarth, Mudvain, Dropkick Murphies, Face to Face, Pennywise, a bit of Dragonforce too. Thats only a small part of what I'm listening too.

Oh yeah I forgot for the French people here there is a bit of Berurier Noir too a very good old French Punk band

In all seriousness though. I use a sony walkman MP3 player and skullkandy earbuds. I was surprised with the sony, I bought it because it was cheap, but it's a really well put together mp3 player. I had it on both times I crashed by bike, landed right on top of it the second time... still ticking.

As far as music, Ill listen to just about everything. Rob Zombie, Finger 11, Seether, MSI, Evanescense (or however-the-hell you spell that), throw in some country, a lot of dance remixes, a little Green Day type stuff, older rock stuff, some 70's party music. I tried listening to a book-on-tape type thing once, but that didn't work out to well.

I havnt gotten to ride with my mp3 player much but I listen to many genres of music.

Lots of rap. 2pac, UGK (Pimp C, BunB) RIP pimp C!!!
3 six mafia, luniz, ice cube, game, master P, B.I.G, Lil Wyte, Yo Gotti, Eminem (D12), Outkast, Lil wayne, and others.

Also like me some Classic rock. Steve miller band, The Who, Queen, stones, zz top, pink floyd and others.

Some metal. Metallica, Zeplin, Warrant, Rob zombie, Ozzy, and others.

I also like me some country, not so much when I ride though.

looks like most of the buell riders are into heavy metal,me 2. i like to put weird shit on my ipod. i put the main theme rom requiem for a dream on there , and lol the starwars theme its cool when your on the highway with like ten bikes lol. but other than those mostly a7x,lamb of god, trivium, korn, metallica ,mudvayne, well pretty much anything thats not country or bot bands.

I got to see Maiden on tour in their prime. I was the Some Where In Time tour, I would say its in my top 5 concerts ever.
Run to the Hills.............Run for your life.............
I like some old school rock but just the hard stuff. Maiden, Dio, Anthrax, Metallica (nothing after Justice for all). One of my all time fav songs is Bullet from The Misfits, but I agree they went down hill.

D-BEAT and CRUST.
( Partial list of D-beat bands )

Oh, and MOTORHEAD.

That's it.
I listened to some of that in the 80's but not many people know what it is, Little dark for me but I had lots of friends into it.
