Yeah, title says it. Im all about change if it makes things better, but this is lame.
Ill still be checking in and posting and helping if i can, but meh

It will certainly get time to get use to, but we couldn't continue with the old software. Not updated in ages, open to hacks, and providing only basic functionality.

I am still working on the upgrade, but when the important stuff is completed, I can look for a better style...

FYI - for those reading this thread - you can check "New posts" just like on the old BuellXB.com site by clicking the "New Posts" button on the top left side of the page.

I am ok with new format. Just bring back the section where you can see what others are posting in different categories. Like it was at the end of the old Web site. I enjoyed seeing what other were talking about. It looks like in this fomat I would have to open each category to see what others are talking about. I might not understand this format yet.

Inbwas pretty disappointed about not seeing the new posts as well but if you look in the upper left corner there is a link for new posts.

Now if we could just get this forum on tapatalk......

Yes, the New Posts link at the top is the way to go. I just used it to find updates to this post

I like the layout the new posts button puts out. It's concise and shows just what's needed. I don't have to scroll through all of the forum sections to get to them at the bottom of the page.

Is anyone using the site on a phone? I have to click a button on the top right to get to the button for new posts.

Also, posting pics sucks now. Where is the img button?

And no option to go to a certain page from the new posts list. Have to open the thread, then select the page.

I also am mainly on my phone when on the site but I went to the bottom and selected the full site option so I see the same thing regardless of the device I use.

Now it's just like every other forum, functionally speaking. The old format is one thing I really really like d about the forum. This is OK. I'll deal with it I suppose.

Oh cool? an autosave? That;s handy.

Anyways, Thanks for all the stuff you do buellxb, but I for one am not a big fan of the new software. We will see where it takes us though.


How is app support looking?

Can we tag members yet so they actually get notifications when tagged?

Click the "Go Advanced" button to preview your post for possible editing.

I've suggested getting the new posts to show right on the homepage like the old site.

The whats new button shows each individual post so if a thread is blowing up you will only see that thread. It should show just the threads that have recent posts.

Every time I exit the page and then bring it up again, it logs me out and makes me set a new password... lol
