TL;DR

just graduated high school and my plan was to buy myself a buell. my mom is freaking out about it saying i'm going to die. she allowed me to get a scooter which will go 70mph so idk what her deal is/how a motorcycle is any more dangerous but that's not the point. she knows i'm an adult and can make my own choices so she won't kick me out of the house or disown me or anything drastic like that if i get a bike. she just offered to buy me a porsche (used, it's a little over $20k but still that's a lot) if i agreed not to get a bike for a while. personally, i hate huge gifts. if she bought me a porsche -or some other car- idk if i could treat it as "mine" i guess.. it wouldn't really feel right. also, i doubt i can have as much fun with a porsche. that being said, it's a porsche...

i'm not really sure what to do here.. as weird as it sounds, i'm worried that i'll regret getting a free porsche. the plan to get a bike was so that i could come out of high school with something positive (public education was a waste of my time imo). motorcycles are just 100% thrilling and that's what i'm looking for in life at this point.

On a side note was lil exciting here at work yesterday like 2 U.S Marshals 4 stat troopers and 6 sherriff deputies were chasing some dude and it ended right in front of where I work guns drawn getting the guy out of the van wth nothing but glass btwn us was lil scary lol hauled off the dude the U.S Masharls were kool afterwards chatting with us lol guess he was wanted on a Felonius Assault warrant. You know you in deep Poo when you got U.S. Marshals on your ass.

perhaps i should go with the porsche or some other mid-life crisis car. my mom must be way more freaked out about my safety than i thought because she volunteered to buy me a porsche... who does that, like really.. any ideas on cars other than a porsche? preferably something high on the pussy magnet scale.. i might as well to make up for the differences between a bike and a car

sorry for rambling on, i find that typing/summing up the situation helps.

edit: now what am i gonna do with all the gear i bought.... hmm. i guess it will be added incentive to buy a bike later on so i can put it to good use (or rather not put it to good use)
