I’m thinking about purchasing this:
https://raleigh.craigslist.org/mcy/d/zebulon-buell-1125rr/6908120125.html

I don’t know much about the supposed 1125rr. However, I’m extremely interested in this bike.
I’ll be asking the current owner the usual questions about the clutch, charging system, fuel pump health, how many of the 5k miles are track miles and the list goes on.......

I’m posting here to see if anyone has experience with an 1125rr?
Would this be a terrible idea for a rocket ship type ride to fill the void left by the XB?

I would seek out another liter type bike but I’m kind of partial to the Buell. Also, the price point on this bike is perfect. Maybe too perfect........

I didn’t inquire soon enough.
But I’ve changed my mind about upgrading.
I need to master the ride i currently own before I step up to anything more powerful.

Leave Carlos alone, he is making the right decision for himself!!!!!!! You know what has to be done Carlos, stick to your guns.

Hey, I don’t care what the peanut gallery has to say.

I thought I wanted a faster bike. Fact is I’m not fast enough or talented enough to even get the full potential out of my archaic xb.
Truth is that pretty much all of the sportbikes on the road will NEVER have their full potential unleashed.
Well, maybe in a straight line, but any squid can do that!

I’m just looking at riding from a different perspective.

We are all nuts just having fun. You are doing the right thing, but some times we need to push the envelope.

"You must do what you feel is right!":)

It's like being married, but checking out the waitress. You don't have to do anything about it, but it's nice to look:D

Just having a little fun, be safe out there, you have a great bike already!

What? Are you old? That crap almost sounds like responsibility leaking out...
A blast is probably above my level of skill, but I had to get the EBR.
I like Thermo-quads. First mod I do is flip the air cleaner lid...

There is absolutely no need whatsoever for a high hp machine. If you can carry corner speed and keep it rolling that's the only thing you need. I love guys that go out on brand new 1000's and park it at the braking markers and go through the corners like a two yr old on training wheels. Sh!t, i personally know guys that are cracking off consistent 1:25 lap times on 20 yr old sv650's!!!!
