Notice the position of the sun. The truck driver was looking directly into the sun as he was making his turn. No wonder he didn't see the motorcyclist. I'll remember that the next time I have the sun at my back and a car is waiting to turn left in front of me.

It actually looks like he may have had a brain bucket on if you look at the ground near where he got up. But damn I've never seen anyone face plant a truck leave a nice dent in the hood and get up from it before.
