I installed some emgo clubman handlebars on my lightning and now my throttle cable gets stuck on full wot when i turn the throttle. Its not thats its too tight because i have slack behind my fly screen and ive tried loosening it and tightening it from the little nuts by the housing unit but still doesnt return back to close after i turn the throttle. Any suggestions? If I lube them up will it help? thanks all

When I installed crossroads on mine I had to reroute the cables several times until I liked the way it returned and operated. Thats the joys of installing after markets products. Lubing will help btw.

I have clubmans. I had problems with them binding too, but mostly when I would turn the bars too far to one side. I think they had too much slack. At first, I had them coming up through the bottom, by the headlights, then into the space behind the windscreen. It worked fixed it when I kept them (clutch and throttle) routed behind the backing plate, then going under the gauge cluster, then through the hole I made in the side of the bracket thing that holds the windscreen.

Sorry if I don't make any sense. I can take some pictures when I get off work tonight if you want me to.

Thanks guys And I get what your saying Levi. I was afraid I was going to have to drill a hole for it. I just wanted to see if there was a way before I started drilling. I may just leave it as is. It really doesn't bother me that I have to return it manually

I'm also looking to get clubmans. And all the research I've done. The best way I've seen is drill a hole. Yeah it sucks but oh well. That's what I had planned on doing when I get them
