Dunno whats going on with my twist throttle. I used to ride motocross alot and it would sometimes get stuck when grip glue would get in between the handlebar and throttle tube, but ive checked that already. what else could it be?? errrrrrr[mad]

throttle cable sticking? Check for obstructions on the cable, maybe try some silicone lube? did you bend the cable too tight?

I have had my cable fray inside the housing, I believe someone had the housing apart and didn't get it back together correctly. This is would be a place to check, if the bike was pre-owned. It takes patience to get together right.
Also check the cable tension adjustments, just enough slack so that when you move the handlebars, "turn the bike", the idle doesn't change.
Make sure nothing is awry at the throttle body end too.
Hope that helps!

I give up, I took everything apart and lubed everything good including the cable sleeving on the pull and the return. Its still exactly the same. I'm just gonna install new ones and be done with it.:D

no it sticks everywhere. I checked the the throttle body by itself and its smooth as silk. Cables cant be frayed, its only got 10k miles on it.

there could be some friction in the cable...it's not because it only has 10k that nothing can be wrong or a 1thread of the cable could be broken and is stuck in the sleeve.
