What exhaust gives the most low end power with the deepest growl for the 1125? (Not to loud and obnoxious). I heard a XB at a dealer with a carbon fiber unit that if you closed your eyes you would swear it was a small block V8.

LOL heard the exact same comment about my xb with jardine that and got asked when I started driving a truck one time when I went to a friends and he didnt see what I came on

Well you wont get that "thump thump" out of the Rotax motor.

Just do a quick search on the 1125R and 1125CR forums for exhaust and a bunch will come up.

I havent found what I am looking for for my CR either. Hoping EBR will come out with some options soon.

I sell the HMF pipes here in store and I like how they sound. A little louder than most other ones I have heard on the 1125's.

Hit up YouTube man. There are videos of different exhaust all over the place.

I'll trade you my XB12R with my rad hackpipe. It has mad "thump thump". ;-)

But will it give it low end so the bike dosent stall out as easily? Someone told me a drummer would make it so you could just let out the clutch and it would take off. (But $1000, ouch!) Now with the stocker if I dont slip the clutch with some good revs it will die.

Triple7...how many miles are on the bike? When I first got my CR it did that alot. But mine has about 1700 miles now and it hasnt stalled in a long time and I can take off with just the clutch.

No way, that would be awesome! I just turned to 630 miles. Time for its first service.

I agree with 03, mine used to die at times for no reason. The more miles u put on these bikes the better they get. Go get the new flash too, its amazing the diffence it makes. The 1125 took a little getting used to, totally different animal than a xb9r.

Well I did it. I spent all day searching through all the threads. Listening to all the sound bites on youtube. Looking at designs, learning about the companys, researching prices and this is what I came up with. For low end grunt, and the deep snarl I was looking for and in keeping with the original Buell under carriage look - it has to be the Drummer SS pipe for the 1125R. The only detractor is the $1000.00 price tag. My second choice (because for less than 1/2 the price $375.00 - $450.00) the HMF,FMF pipes have a good deep low exhaust note and improved low end - but were anti Buell in design by hanging out on the right side of the frame. I would love to have the Drummer but cant depart with that kind of money. I looked on Ebay and other forums but no luck finding a used one or discounted one. I will probibly just go HMF (if I can swallow that ugly side hanger stuff) and try to save up for a year to get that awesome drum beat!

Try hawk performance. He mods the stock pipe and has the ABSOLUTE best customer service. He'll even do something a lil different to suit your taste. And the price is UNBEATEABLE, like around $200 I think. Def. worth lookn into.

The only Hawk Performance stuff I could find on the web was for car stuff - brake pads.

I last time I talked to him was early Dec. and he said he wanted to have his design down pact by the end of the month so I'd def look into his pipes. He a really nice guy and will get you the hookup however possible.[up]

From what I read and saw there was a drop in hp and torque. The opposite of what I am looking for. Thanks for the info.

So whats the least amount anyone has paid for a drummer for an 1125 and where can you get one for the least amount?
