Got these from Miami78 a couple of weeks ago.

Started working on a couple of options for it, narrowed it down pretty quickly though. Started test fitting some stuff.

Looked mostly ok, but it wasn't quite right.

Really didn't like how tight it was at the front end of the muffler bodies, there was only one real option. New downpipe on the left side to shift it a little more to the left.

Still need to add O2 sensor bungs, then the whole thing gets ceramic coated black. It's a work in progress, but it should be done within the next week or so.

Oh that's a very nice fit up Dean.

I'm already pretty curious about what effect the crossover pipe has on performance and dB levels. I know it'll be loud but the pulses are going to sound different than a setup without the crossover. I'm just curious to know how different. I'm not familiar with the pulse dynamics of a v-twin, but on my cars the crossover pipe makes a huge difference.

Again, nice work guy.

Awesome! I'm assuming you decided to leave the cones...ever come to a definitive conclusion as to their purpose? Also, what mufflers are you using or did you build them also? Very attractive pipe!!

Melvster - Yep, leaving the cones for now, if needed they can always come off later. He built the silencers himself...should be pretty wicked! I may need your help getting them on...I haven't taken the headers off yet, so not sure how much of a pain it'll be!

I'm down to help out! Taking them off i.s easy. Putting the stock ones back on took a lil effort on my bike, but it's all one piece

I was just lurking through some old posts...I just helped Mike (Miami78) install these bad boys...PURE SEX! LOL But really, they sound and look Amazing! As for myself, I love the natural stainless look!

Forgot about this thread...I think some completed images should go here, too.

Great work by Dean!
