Hey dmp0001 my friend has a 2011 5.0 and he just cut off the mufflers and welded the tips on the cut pipe. AND HOLY SH*T! Best sound i have ever heard from a stang and it didn't even take a aftermarket exhaust.

Its a GT/CS special edition, no 5.0 badges. But I assure you it has the V8

I commute to work, I still want SOME sound control. The stock exhaust is nearly silent. I think I am getting the Roush axle back system.

Borla is on the short list but $$$ $800 is a lot for an axle back. Flowmaster makes some nice ones for like $500, we will see. there is a local mustang meeting in a few weeks I am gonna wait and go try to hear some in person before I decide

i did a borla on my wrx.... not the full kit i got just the muffler from them and took it to a shop and had them do the piping its a lot less $
