There should be a 4 digit date code on the tire. The last 2 digits being the year the tires were manufactured.I know I just bought the bike. I'm asking are they stock? I'm not sure what came on the bike in 09. I just ordered a new set of Q3's.
shinkos. but then again i'm old....frugal.....ride like a geezer which i am......not all that smart....and own 26 bikes one of which always seems to need new tires. shinkos!
there is something "wrong" with me ricky. i believe most of my posts and in particular this one confirms that. still waiting for carlos, shaughn, john, jesse and the rest of the board hooligans and tormenters to chime in.Usually John might and I say might do 1 mph over the speed limit but 2 mph! Holy crap!!! John there must be something wrong with you. Lol!!!!!!!
Anyone buying shinkos for a street bike should always remember to hit the throttle wide open on corner exits! It is essential that this is done while nearly at full lean, just before bring the bike up. ESPECIALLY when the tires are COLD!
Hang on long enough for the tire to hook up with the tarmac and you will have acccomolished two things:
1) you are now one step closer to emulating Mark Marquez to the fullest.
2) you are one of the few people on earth to see the face of Jesus and live to tell the tale.
I almost forgot to mention John, this will also give you that tickle in the pants Mrs Clinton gave you way back when that you've ever since been longing for.
never much cared for him john. i don't know if it was the pumpkin colored hair, the attitude or his association with yamaha. i absolutely loathe yamahas so suspect that has been my basis for his dislike. hold on a minute son: just checked inventory. i own a yamaha vino 125 scooter and an old RD250. disregard previous yamaha bashing. my apologies.the amish call me by my PA dutch name.....Eddie Lawson. it's a sign of respect, honor, and reverence.
funny, always kind of thought of you as more of a Kenny Roberts kind of man, then I remembered your affection for the HIII's
