Is the stock upper belt guard and tire hugger one piece of plastic? Wanted to remove my upper belt guard but realized it would remove the plastic fender as well. Is this true?

I saw his comment was in the S/Ss/x/scg and Since mine is originally an S I figured they were seperate like mine, but I Guess not. I learned something.[up]
 
In order to put the regular swingarm hugger on, you have to cut it because the shock lug is in a different position on the longer swingarms.

I swapped to an sTT swing arm, and when I got the set-up, the PO had cut the fender like this. Very tasteful i.m.o. It came from the Netherlands. Looks great, but in the rain, you WILL have wet-ass.
