anyone know where I can pick up a set of scorpion syncs cheap? the best I have found is $252 for the front and rear. I need to buy this week but hate to pay too much

I bought my pirelli's from motonekoparts.com

They will price match and I got a good deal....but 252 is not really that bad

252 is actually cheaper than 2 tires for my mitsubishi eclipse....$160 per tire...but at the same time they are rated to 160mph...

Sorry to burst your bubble but the tires on these bikes are rated at over 160mph. I have Michelin Pilot Powers on mine and they are awesome tires. $252 is a great price for tires. Wait until you find out how much to mount and balance each one. That is the kicker unless you do it yourself and most people don't have a tire balancer.

I just checked and the speed rating for my Buell is w, the same as the tires on my Mitsubishi, your tires have to be rated to what your vehicle tops out at, actual top speed not what your speedo says it will do...

Poke....Poke.....Bubble firmly intact...:p

try bikebandit.com . and also may i recomend pirelli Strada's awsome tire and long lasting tread wear. im going on 6,000 miles on the rear on my x b12 and a crap load more tread to go.

Hey let me know how they work out for you, Scorpions is what mine came with, no complaints so far. I locked it up in the rain one time, but I was going fast, and there was a lot of rain, I was riding through standing water...

you can fit a 190 on there but I hav not heard it recomended, it wont handle right.
I put my scorpions on a few weeks ago and love them! the bike is so much more composed than with the dunlops I had before, I will never use another tire!

Thank you dmp, now I know to stick with the scorpions when I need to change out tires. I love them, even on the wet cement I can rip throttle without any fear.

I have tried an assortment of race replica "sticky" tires and none have come close to the scorpions as far as rideability, in my opinion. but to each his own. for day to day riding these are the best street tires I have used
