Decided to wrap my exhaust today while waiting for my 2nd hand oil lines to come in . I used a titanium wrap however I still noticed some sticky fibers after in my hands and arms almost like what you get from the fiberglass wraps. Overall it turned out good for my first time I think. Going to finish it off with some lock wire on the ends later tonight. Next up these damn corroded oil cooler lines

Looking good man! I like using twisted mechanics wire instead of the stainless zip ties. Much less noticeable and it works just as good.

Nice wrap job man. How hard was that??
Rhetorical question... LOL:)

Thanks guys yea I’m using locking wire for them , holds way better just have the ties on there holding it in place . Kinda off topic but do you guys have any tips for replacing those oil lines from the oil cooler. Ordered some used ones from eBay should be in Friday and want to get them installed ASAP . Mine look like a 1940s rat rod project with the surface rust on them haha

I don't unscrew them at all. I remove the clip and just pull it straight out of that fitting. A new o-ring is a good idea anyway (IMO) especially if you twist it that much by unscrewing the end, so might as well just pull it out. They do recommend a new clip (that you can buy from a good auto parts store or a pack from e-bay), but I've had no probs re-using them:eagerness:
