To part or not to part... 08 xb9sx

Makin a new thread here since the topic has now changed... So I picked up a 08 xb9sx this morning and am now stuck with choosing between 3 options of what to do with it...

#1. I can turn around and re-list it for $1800
#2. I can fix it for probably $1000 ish
#3. I can part it out

The bike starts up and runs well.. see vid and pics... What should I do???

It's all up to you. If you wanna get rid of it part it out will make you more money.
I'll take frame covers if you going to be able to take them off without damaging them.

Potential dibs on ECM, if it hasn't been reflashed by the dealer.

Have to test some new tuning theories.

Ok, this is what I'm going to do... Parting the bike depends on if I can sell the engine... So will start out with listing the engine on fleabay, and of course taking offers here if anybody is interested, and if the engine sells, I'll part the rest... If the engine doesnt sell, I'll then consider just flipping or rebuilding.

Just thought I would give an update for those who were waiting. I was getting a lot of offers for the whole bike so I decided to go that route. Ended up selling it for $1850. Nice $650 profit for doing basically nothing

However, the guy that I am selling it to is only going to be using the engine for a bobber that he is building and he will be parting all the other stuff like the jardine, mounts, headers, wheels, carbon fiber panels, plastics etc. So if anybody is interested in getting non-engine parts I can put you in touch with him. Just let me know

Good thing you're in Texas, or I would've been pretty upset you didn't sell the whole thing to me. That's exactly the kinda thing I'm gonna be looking to pick up once I sell a couple things I need to get ride of for some Buell buying cash. I'm hoping for a fixer upper under $2k, incase any of you guys have anymore!

dang why did I have to be asleep while you put this up. I would have bought that in a heart beat so i could use it and my bike two build a bike like I want and one my wife would want.

Well... you could always offer me $2k before the guy comes to pick it up on monday... he hasnt given me any money yet...
