Tool set question

Hey guys,

I'm not much of a mechanic, just a computer nerd, but I still would like to at least have the tools handy in case I need to fix something myself. I have the service manuals and I was just wondering if anyone knows the bare minimum of tools that would be needed to work on a xb12s

The little toolkit that comes with the bike is a joke. I was looking to put together a set that was almost if not all a socket set.

Go pickup up a smaller Craftmans Socket set, a few wrenches, screw drivers etc....

make sure you get some allen wrenches, just your standard hand tools are enough to do almost everything

I read some place that the bike also takes torx? T27 or something, is picking up a set of those worth it?

I saw that, but I wanted a socket wrench set, easier to work with
