I know I've hit 140mph, back in the days of my youth, on my xb12r
145mph is probably the max speed you'll obtain.
BTW you want top speed, change your gearing or get a liter bike!

135 on my xb9r. Pretty much out of steam at that point..

145mph on my 2005 xb12r and then the governor kicked in wouldn't allow it to go any faster. I know that i still had some rpm's left to run but it just would not go any faster. I rode that for 10-20 miles while trying to avoid a M.F.'r of a rain storm.
