Topping off Fork Oil...?

Hay folks,

Well, just fixed a Severely leaky fork seal on my 12R using a Seal-Mate tool (awesome product BTW, totally works). My question is, is it necessary to have the fork oil at an Exact level and should I replace the amount lost?

Drain and refill both. probably way past due if the seal was leaking.

Yes, there is an exact level it needs to be. Check your service manual for the level.

FYI fork seal oil is supposed to be changed every 10k

I agree, if you are opening them up, might as well put some new oil in.
