I'm trying to tighten my hose clamps and I have it set 17in lbs and this thing keeps going. I can't really feel the head click. I'm afraid of cutting the hose. Any suggestions on how to get a proper reading? Maybe just hand tighten?

Ya me either but I'm putting this ninja back together and I'm doin it all by the book this time. I may skip this spec.

Really? I always borrow my buddy tims inch lb. Usually only need it for valve jobs. Seems like it's about once a year. If I needed more often I would buy a t and a small standard wrench.

Yeah really. I have 2 wrenches, both husky brand from home depot. Just curious if there is a better brand anyone would recommend since every bolt should be torqued to spec on the bike.

I should have quoted when I asked "really?" I was referring to the t handle wrench. That's good to know. I need to look for one. I use a wrench I got at o reilly auto parts.
