After (successfully) installing the drivers for ECMSpy I am communicating nicely with the ECM. The TPS seems to be the main issue at the moment, as it is completely unresponsive.
Is there a method for troubleshooting the TPS by itself (i.e. measuring resistance/voltage between pins)? I removed the TPS yesterday.
With an ohm-meter this morning I measured:
GREEN LEAD TO ORANGE LEAD: 3.392k Ohms (Settled Position)
GREEN LEAD TO ORANGE LEAD: 294 Ohms (Full Turn on Sensor)
GREEN LEAD TO BLACK LEAD: 482 Ohms (Settled Position)
GREEN LEAD TO BLACK LEAD: 3.524k Ohms (Full Turn on Sensor)
BLACK LEAD TO ORANGE LEAD: 3.721k Ohms (Settled Position and Full Turn (no change)
Has anyone measured this before?
I know that the three wires (Orange, Green, Black) are +5V Reference, Return, and TPS Voltage, but i'm not sure what color corresponds to what lead.
