Track day pics/vid, LVMS on 1125r w/Keda RT-3

Rode LVMS with Track Tactics on 8-13-11. It was my first night event and it was a hoot. Finally managed to mount the gopro on the 1125 for those that wanted to hear what the Keda RT-3 sounds like but if you ask me this video does not do it justice or even accurately record the true tone of the pipe. Took three videos but this is the only one youtube feels like accepting so if I can get the two others to load I will add them at a later time.

This vid is shot backwards and for the first 15 minutes is a little slower because I am towing my dad around the track. Then I brake loose at 15:40ish, at 16:30ish Dale Kieffer (the guy who filmed the the Helmet Dragging video) passes me and tows me for the remainder of the session.

Couldn't get the day off at work, I'm shooting for ether the 23rd at Chuck, or the the 26th at SOW (counter clockwise). Some of my friends will be riding that day though.

how fast do you get going with the GOPro? Have you had any problems with it shaking bad, or coming off with that tape its sucked onto?

I have a gopro and i get going as fast as possible. On the bolts its pretty bad vibrations. Just because of the engine. And no i have NO worries of it flying off.

I've had mine up over 150 but figured out that it wasn't recording when I did it.

I have had mine to 162 but it was inside the windscreen aimed at the speedo. JW what its like on the outside in the wind

I was hitting close to 140 on the back strait. The tape is just a backup in case the suction cup fails.

I had the suction cup fail after a 30min bumpy road run (stuck to the side of my car) when it came off the car ran it over (caught on tape!) case has a small scratch and a tire mark that buffed off but the camera and case were intact! And the camera is just fine, no damage at all (not bad after a car ran it over! the suction cup on the other had was completely destroyed. It seems to be a fluke but leaves me a bit un-easy so I don’t use it anymore (or I did not bother getting a new one) BTW, the latch that locks the camera in the case broke soon after, called GoPro and they sent two new ones free of charge, they were so nice about that! I bought an extra case as a backup just in case! What a great camera just wish I could use an external microphone with it

Lucky, I lost my ContorHD 1080P at Palomar and never found it.
