trackside paddock read stand

hey guys i got a rear stand for christmas. went with the trackside paddock from cyclegear because the price was right and i have seen people here and badweb using them.

a quick line up and i dont see how the spools are even close to working on the CR. this is my first stand all other times ive used redneck engineering to do my maintenance. thanks for your input.

Gotta spread the stand. I had to do the same with my old pitbull for my 9R

Popeye, do you mean the spools won't fit the CR swingarm, or that the stand is not wide enough to reach the spools on the CR swingarm? If the former, bending the stand won't help...

Dusty, when you spread your stand apart (how) did you keep the wheels rolling parallel?

It only needed to go an inch or so, I just grabbed each side and pulled, gently, apart till it fit.

you can use a car jack to spead it.

Barely, function will not be affected.

Like Miami said, your not really opening it up that far only about 1 inch and that does not affect anything.

thanks guys thats what i was thinking but figured i would run it by you all before i go bending something that is just opened.
