I would love a cbr 1000 but i cant get ride of my bike for one. I love my bike to much. So i would have to buy one.

And yes i have dropped her. It happens. I dont plan on selling or trading her so i can fix her up so she forgives me. There only one noticeable spot tho. It was a clean lay down.

My friend has an 08 cbr 1000 and they will cook. Youll get a trade im sure of it. Keep at it.

i had a firebolt and had the same problems o.p. mentioned....the riding position didnt agree with me. the lightning i have is perfect for me. i like it. aint the fastest thing out there, but it will go fast enough in any gear to kill you. glwt

rrh481 have you ever considered changing you screen name i know you have quite a fan club and all. but is it worth the ranking on your unranked reputaion for all the arguements? i dunno maybe you like it . i know i love these fights but man i cant imagine being in your shoes.[confused]but mann if you sell your bike i feal bad for that fella when he post a pic of it on here and hears the story.Just an idea not trying to ruffle your feathers.

mike... sounds to me that the bike of choice for you is the XB12S lightning. try for the later style 'square' swing arm, so here in australia it was the 05 model.

this was my old one...

the 12 will give you good torque. the bike itself its the short wheel base, which is the neatest look. you can be lucky and get a buell factory race exhaust and bits, or go after market. wide tyre or whatever else you want to do is your choice.

but you will be addicted once you ride one!

why would the person that buys my bike care? at least he will know how fast it is. so far theirs not one xb12r around me that keeps up. i took 3rd place in hals dyno shoot out.
