Didn't see a thread for these up here yet. I am sure we are a smaller group but lets see em! Here are 2 pics of mine.

Those slidders look like the came off of a BMX bike. Makes me want to do stupid shit that I know I shouldn't attempt. Great looking bike!

^^Haha they did. I cut them down a few inches. Didn't like them at first but now they have kind of grown on me. People always ask if they are for stunting :D

They cost me $10 in all thread and some time with a grinder to cut them down. Originally they were so long if i would have mounted them they would probably drag in corners. Made them in college because I didnt have a real job to be able to front $100 for manufactured ones. Like the look and if it ain't broke don't fix it

Just tighten them down. It's like half inch allthread so by the time you wrap electrical tape around it to protect the axle it pretty much holds itself in plase. It also helps that the outside diameter of the peg is almost identical to the axle.

I can do better than that for a fellow "Buellinzer!" LOL You know where I'm at if you want to change your mind someday... ;)

Sounds good. Thanks for the offer. My bike will probably be getting torn down and get some powdercoat next winter so I think I am going to go all out. [up]

Am I really the only person on the forum rocking this color scheme?? I know the orange is rare but I didn't know it was that rare. I have seen one or two on here.

i miss mine. last year this model ever came to australia, and i should never have sold her...

Funny thing is that I don't believe they even made this color scheme in 2004 when my bike was made.

The clubmans are looking good!

Okay, for some reason everytime I upload a picture it just stays black. I haven't tried posting a picture yet though. Let me give this a shot, if it comes up blank/black, I'll try to delete my post so it doesn't take up space. But here's my very first Buell, loving her! 2007 Buell xb12scg!

The longer your axle slider the more likely it is to snap off than to slide and protect your bike...just saying :)

Thats what I have always been told but lucky enough I have never found out first hand. [up]

I took the passenger peg brackets off, and I'm thinking of long sliders in the back if I want to do stand up wheelies.
