tri.o.m lights

i bought my 03 xb9sl about a month ago was told it had different headlights on it. looked at the headlights and noticed they say tri.o.m on them i google them and all i can seem to find is images of these. can anybody tell me the perks of these lights, if there is any??

The headlights on my '09 XB12 were triom.

TriomSpa is an Italian mfg of hi-intensity lighting. Typically used in stage performances (Reflector-type). They're automotive dept does Fiat and Alpha-Romero lighting systems, and Ducati use them as well.

Y'all might have a Euro spec or someone got those as replacements. Dunno.

Same here too. Are these better than stock? Is it the housing too or just the lights?

My guess is they are stock and Tri.o.m is the vender that supplied them to Buell. They are definately very good lights compared to other bikes I have had.

probably have hid's in them?

Triom is oem on buell's, even 1125's have that brand for headlights

just bought one for my ulysses to replace the disappearing chrome on the reflector. comes with standard bulbs, not hid, just oem replacement.
