I have a 03 firebolt I just purchased, seems to be running really well except one problem. When I start the bike cold it starts great, but after I ride it for even 5 minutes, it seems to have some trouble starting. It always will go, but it can some times take 5-10 seconds. Any ideas on this?

Plugs, timing, battery, TPS reset...give the bike a service.

Any used vehicle I purchase, I always service it.

Will only add that it'd be best to go ahead and change the Engine & Primary oils to motorcycle-specific full synthetic.

After doing all that, if you've still got the same problem, post up and we'll give it another go.

Also, if you've not already done it, the Service Manual link at the top of this page will give you access to info on doing all of what's been suggested; except the TPS reset. You'll have to swing by a dealer or use ECMSpy to do that.

On a side note, been very happy with my NGK Iridium plugs. (DCPR9EIX) Congrats on your bike & let us know how it goes.
